SUMMER LEAGUE 2024
Team Captains meeting was APRIL 9th. Membership for each team member is required for only $30 per year. The sponsor fee remains at $40. To improve checking teams in each week we hope your team will pay for the whole season upfront on the first night of league. This will help our club and make it easier for your team captain every week. The cost for birds for the 2024 season will be $960 per team ($192 per team member--$12 per week.) Remember, we do accept credit cards.
The number of teams will be limited to 20 teams per night. If more than twenty teams want to shoot on a given night you may have to switch nights, provided there is room on the other night. Teams from 2023 will get first priority.
Summer league is shot on two nights, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. League will begin April 30th and May 1st, 2024 and end August 20th and 21st with a bye week during the week of July 4th.
FALL LEAGUE 2024
Runs for eight weeks beginning September 5th, 2024. Membership for each team member is required for only $30 per year. The sponsor fee remains at $40. To improve operations we ask you to pay for the whole season upfront on the first night of league. This will help our club and make it easier for your team captain every week. The cost for birds for the 2024 season will be $520 per team ($104 per team member--$13 per week.) Remember, we do accept credit cards.
Please help us keep wasted birds to a minimum. Our birds are voice activated so do NOT talk when you are on the shooting line because it may release a bird. If you use a pump or semi-auto shotgun, please load your shell away from the microphone as the sound may also release a bird.
If a bird is not launching, please first check to make sure the trapline mic is powered on, then the score keeper power is on. Look to see if the power light is on. You may have to bend over or raise the mic to see that the light IS on. PLEASE avoid pushing buttons randomly.
---------------EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO FOLLOW PROPER GUN SAFETY PROTOCOL AT ALL TIMES. Failure to do so could result in being asked to leave and/or membership expulsion.--------------
SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!
Everyone must follow sound firearm safety protocol including hearing and eye protection. NO shot larger than 7.5 and NO shells larger than 3 Dram. Anyone exhibiting the unsafe handling of firearms may be asked to leave and/or be expelled. ALWAYS point your muzzle away from people even when it is unloaded.
Please leave your gun case in your vehicle. It is very important that you carry your gun with the action open at all times. If it is in a case no one can see that your gun is unloaded.
